Chris received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Culinary Sports Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. He possesses 11 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry and began his career in sports as a Nutrition Intern at the University of Alabama in the Spring of 2012 with their National Championship Football Team.
Chris was subsequently recruited by the Atlanta Braves in the Fall of 2012. He created daily menus based on specific nutrition needs for the Braves’ players and produced up to three health-conscious meals per day for the entire squad for all regular-season home games and during spring training. He set up programs for the Braves Organization to utilize local farms, butchers and other vendors for all of the produce and products for the meals prepared.
Chris was credited by Frank Wren (Braves Assistant General Manager) as helping Jason Heyward (RF) maintain his weight after breaking his jaw during the 2012 season. He also provided personal chef services to the players and coaches during the off-season.
Chris has continued to expand his Athletic and Nutrition expertise by becoming a Level 1 now with Opex Upper Mainline in Paoli Pennsylvania.
A native of Pottstown, Pa., Chris attended Owen J. Roberts High School where he was a varsity Ice Hockey and Golf player as well as a Track athlete.
His dream has always been to open his own business providing health conscious meals perfectly portioned for professional and amateur athletes, busy parents and the average Joe.
